Interesting things about Dreams...

This is the opinion I am entitled to. If you don't like it, read someone elses blog.

at the link i provided you with, i learned a lot of things about dreams. before i share with you what all i learned, i wanted to say, dreams have always interested me: translating them, thinking about them, who is in them... and once i saw this link, a lot of things were cleared up for me.

the tenth fact on the list is, blind people dream. i thought that it was weird because people who are blind from birth have dreams about smell, touch, and sound... because that's all they ever experienced.

the ninth fact is that you will forget 90% of your dream withing the first 20 minutes of waking up. i have this experience all the time, because i willl remember only the oddest parts of my dreams. for example; i had a dream the other night, but all i can remember is that i was with my old drill team in greece, and i was sleep ing in my room when something got stolen... when everyone met in the foyer to figure out were it had gone, the walls of my room were gone, and i was sitting up naked in the middle of a bunc of people... all i can remember next is something about my ex girlfriend and i climbing a tree while having conversation about the weather... which never would happen...

fact number eight: everyone dreams, but only some of us will remember them. i thought that my brother lied when he said that he had only two dreams in his entire life, one of a dinosaur when he was 9, and one of my mom when he was 12. but this fact explained that he could only rememer those ones.

seven: dreams prevent psychosis. i thought that my dreams meant that i was crazy sometimes [[space ship dream]], and this reassured me taht my dreams are kee[ping me sane, that helps.

fact number six is that we only dream about Faces we've seen... this explains to me that the dream i had when a guy that i could swear i saw at pepboys, i wasn'y just imagining things, and it was just his turn to be in my dreams. this also explains why i have dreams about celebrities, usually eminem and dylan sprouse, like they are my friends that i see every day.... onc eo dreampt that i dated dylan sprouse and that he was my boyfriend... my mom liked him more than victor... too bad it hasnt been robert pattinson's turn to be my dream boyfriend yet. =]

5 -- not everyone will dream in color all the time. i have had dreams in black and white and i never really payed attention to that.... some people will only dream in blakc and white, there's nothing wrong with them, they just wont dream in color. others will have wizard of oz dreams, half black and white, half colored.

fact number four: dreams have a code, like poetry. this explains why dreams have to be translated... poetry doesnt compare a sunset to a sunset, just like dreams don't mean what they are about.

the third, is dumb, so i pass...

second. things outside of your dreams will be blended in occasionally. i had an old alarm clock, and everytime it went off i just had the same dream of defusing a bomb that is in my backyard on my picnic table... weird...

and lastly [fist] you are virtually paralyzed when you sleep. i think this is a cool fact, never had proof... but, i guess i beleive this random web page... =]
